Old TVs and computer monitors can be taken to the Computer Recycling Center at 1434 N. National. Unfortunately you can't really sell old CRT monitors any more these days because flat panels have replaced them universally. TVs and CRT monitors may cost $20 or so to dispose of at the recycling center due to cost of disposing of the chemicals in them.

Yard Waste can be recycled at the YardWaste Recycling center. Yardwaste is defined as bulk or bagged grass clippings, leaves, garden and flowerbed vegetation, and shrub trimmings. Yardwaste is accepted at no charge from residences within the city limits of Springfield.
